Any type of test or exam usually is approached with a fair amount of trepidation. While you may have studied the work extensively, nervousness of an unknown test format often affect your ability to recall the knowledge when you need to apply it. While some people may be confident in their ability to approach an exam, they are certainly in the minority. Most people dread testing for the fear of failure and the fact that you may discover you really do not know as much as you thought you did. As CATs are becoming increasing important as admission requirements for colleges, universities and business careers, it makes sense to become more familiar with the test format used.
