My First Ever Short Fishing Expedition Was A Complete Joy
I’d finished the first year at 6th form college in Godalming and had wrecked my first year exams, was not happy about the second year ahead, didn’t want to go to college so my motivation was not the strongest. Sooner or later I had a series of run ins with the head of year and we, as football vernacular has it, parted company by mutual consent. And I had a weekend job in a Surrey department store that I transfer to full time with which was extremely tempting. Close to the same day, I stopped fishing. How stupid was that? I had so much more time through not having to do course in the evenings any more, and I well remember that I was a bit spooked one time sure that there was something I was intending to be engaged with and it took me a while to get used to it. So I may have used that time by going to the fishing tackle shop and updating my bait and tackle since now I had lots more cash than I had ever had previously.
