Bandana bibs are currently all the rage in baby mealtime apparel covers. But what makes this bib so special? Well, read on for some reasons you might want to get a few for your little one’s future dining pleasure:

They are fashionable – First, these clothing covers are shaped like “cool” bandanas. And, they come in all the colors of the rainbow, and in various patterns, as well. You can opt to choose the usual colors – like blue, pink or yellow – and match them up with your child’s solid color everyday wear. Or, you can take any boring white baby outfit and JAZZ it up – pairing it with a striking kaleidoscope-patterned bib of any color scheme. You can even dress the child more “country”, and add a bandana in a charming brown and white “cow skin” pattern.

They won’t cover up your angel’s whole outfit during dinner – Nothing is worse than having to hide a precious new outfit under a bulky, clumsy terry cloth bib. But, since these are “bandana” style, this means the biggest part of the bib curves down to a thinner point – leaving it shorter on the sides of baby’s neck. This means that her clothing is protected – yet it’s still visible – during the whole meal.

They are absorbent, and they protect your child’s skin – Many bibs out there hardly protect your child’s clothing, let alone her little chin. Liquids allowed to dry on an infant’s tender facial area can cause soreness and an ugly rash. But the bandana cover is 100% cotton, which is not only perfect for catching the drips and spills onto the cloth itself, but this also means it’s completely absorbent, as well. Moreover, anything wet that misses her mouth or is spit out, goes on the bib, dries on the bib, and stays on the bib – and not on her little chin.

They are reusable and cost effective – Although you can find bandana bibs that cost around $20 a piece, most of them are in the $5 to $7 dollar range – making them right around the same price as you would pay for a terry cloth bib of good quality. So, aside from eventual, and normal, wear and tear, they should wash up nicely for many reuses.

So, now you have a few examples of why you might want to think about buying a few cotton bandana bibs for your little angel. However, it’s wise to remember that they come in such a colorful and varied selection, you may not stop until you have purchased one for every day of the week!
