If you are all about the activities you should head out to Oahu. It is one of the top spots on US beach vacations and it is the go to place for windsurfing, sailing and such, because of the steady winds. There are of course the beaches and greenery that add to the appeal of Oahu. The party crowd will of course prefer the bustle of the big island but Oahu is definitely a place worth visiting.

If you are a thinking spender, then a budget friendly area where u can have a fun filled time is South Padre Island, Texas. This beach situated right off the southern tip of Texas, calling out to singles and families alike warm ambiance and adventure games. If you get bored of lazing around the beach getting your tan, South Padre Island offers a chance to hit the waves and go deep sea fishing, parasailing, snorkeling or SCUBA diving.

But those who prefer to stay on dry land won’t feel left out either. They can go horseback riding on the beach or enjoy a round of golf or a game of tennis. If a little less activity and a lot more laziness appeals to you, then birdwatching may be more your style – the area offers more than 300 species of birds.

So whichever type of holiday you prefer and whatever your budget, there are options aplenty when it comes to coastal vacations.
